Didier K. Ekouevi

Didier K. EKOUEVI is head of the Public Health Department at the University of Lomé in Togo. He studies the epidemiology of human papillomavirus infection and sexually transmitted infections associated with this virus in men who have sex with other men and sex workers in Togo.

Prof. Ekouevi has conducted numerous studies on HIV in Africa and in particular on the prevention of mother-to-child transmission. He is also the scientific coordinator of the first therapeutic trial on HIV-2 infection.
