Africa’s populations by 2050: challenges and potentials

Taking place from May 30th to June 2nd 2023, this online Bordeaux Summer School was open to graduate and doctoral students as well as professionals, and gathered 22 participants with a strong interest in the topic of development in Africa, and especially the unique challenges facing African cities, including: rapid urbanisation within a context of limited economic growth, increasing vulnerability to climate change, uncontrolled road traffic and the expansion of polluting industries.
