Joanna Orne-Gliemann

Joanna ORNE-GLIEMANN is a researcher in Social Sciences and Public Health within the Infectious diseases in lower-income countries team (IDLIC) at the Bordeaux Population Health Research Centre. Dr. Orne-Gliemann is also the co-director of the “International Health” Master 2 programme at the Bordeaux School of Public Health.

Formative research study aiming at developing an integrated model for multi-morbidity testing and management in rural South Africa

  • Co-investigator and project coordinator, ANRS 12249 TasP trial. Inserm/Africa Centre for Health and Population Studies.

Randomised controlled trial evaluating the effect of ART initiated immediately after HIV diagnosis, irrespective of CD4 count criteria, on the reduction in incidence of new HIV infections in the general population in KwaZulu Natal (South Africa).
